Tip of the Day – 23rd Nov

23 11 2009

After a successful weekend the Moose is feeling a little daring and looks to the always close ATP Finals for his tip today. The tennis tip sees the Moose backing Spaniard Rafael Nadal to triumph over eigth seed Robin Soderling. Nadal, the 2008 Wimbledon champion possesses the power to overcome the Swede and those with the cojones for it can plump for the 2-0 victory at 7/4 in most places. However, Nadal’s shaky indoor form should see you playing safe so settle for the win at 4/6.

Then the Moose gets a little ‘canivale’ on your ass as he takes a trip down to South America to the home of football legend Diego Maradona – Argentina. Velez Sarsfield invite Racing Club to the Estadio José Amalfitani where they have conceded only 3 goals in six games. Racing meanwhile have notched just two and failed to win away from home. Back Velez at 4/6 with Coral to triumph and make you a pretty penny.

Finally the always potent Pittsburgh Penguins have a tough match-up against a Florida Panthers side that has won its previous 3 games in the NHL. However the Penguins, fuelled by Sidney Crosby have every chance of taking the points in Florida’s barn and can be snapped up at 41/50 in places.

Todays Top Tip:

RAFAEL NADAL to beat Robin Soderling @ 4/6
VELEZ SARSFIELD to beat Racing Club @ 4/6
PITTSBURGH PENGUINS to beat Florida Panthers @ 41/50

A £10 stake pays £50.51

* Today’s longshot comes from the doldrums of the Greek B League with ASK Olymp Volou at home to Ethnikos Asteras. This 4th plays 5th tie could see Asteras sneak a goal and hold on so look for the away side to spring a surprise at a mammoth 7/1 with Coral.
