Tip of the day

21 11 2009

This weekend’s top tip straight from the Moose’s mouth comes from football, and we’re heading to the Championship to kick us off!

Midlands side Leicester host Plymouth with the Foxes a comfortable 12 points ahead of the southerners.  The home side have lost just two of their previous ten games also, so they should be expected to stretch that lead this weekend.

Take them at 8/11 with Coral and then pop up to the Premiership to back Tony Pulis’ Stoke cohorts.

The Potters are always strong at home and, whilst their accents may be hard to understand, their value this weekend certainly isn’t. Unbeaten in 4 of their 6 games on their own turf (the two losses coming against Manchester United and Chelsea) a superb 11/10 can be found in places for them to triumph over sorry Portsmouth.

Those of you feeling daring can also plump for Watford to take another home victory over Scunthorpe, an outfit with a poor away record. Having won just one of seven on their travels this season it could be a depressing journey for the Iron. Back the Londoners in the region of 8/11.

This Weekend’s Top Tip:

LEICESTER to beat Plymouth @ 8/11
STOKE to beat Portsmouth @ 11/10
WATFORD to beat Scunthorpe @ 8/11

A £10 stake pays £62.71

*In other sports look to Ice Hockey and the NHL for the Washington Capitals to win at Toronto Maple Leafs.
With a 1.5 point deficit the Southeast Division leaders are a tasty 21/10!
